We Wove a Web in Childhood/ A life in Stages. (1992)
If I could categorise my writing, I'd not be writing! But perhaps this shouldn't be in my prose writing section. However, it's the first 'real' thing I wrote for publication, or to be more precise, for dramatic production. I started in the late 1980s and it was finally performed in 1992. The story behind the play is told in the 'A life in Stages' section which follows the playscript.

The Threads of Time (2003)
I started working on this in the early 1990s as a screenplay and began writing it as fiction in 1995 at a time I still believed in 'traditional' publishing. By the time it was indie/self published in 2003 I'd given up on that hope, but learned a lot. My first full length novel, it's both a source of pride and embarrassment to me in equal measure. I've come a long way since then but the story stays fresh in my mind a couple of decades on.
